Note that these recipes should be doubled if you have long hair.
- In a bowl, make a mixture combining ¼ cup of Apple Cider Vinegar, 1 fully juiced lemon, and 1 tablespoon of honey. After you’ve mixed them well, apply this concoction to your whole, damp head, from the root of your hair to the tip. Be sure to cover your hair with a towel or cap, in order to avoid a huge mess. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, and wash out with shampoo and conditioner.
- If your hair tends to be dry and brittle, make a mixture of 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Again, apply this to damp hair, and throw some extra on your dry ends. After it has had time to sit in your hair for no longer than 30 minutes, wash it out with shampoo and conditioner. If you love it, apply it to your hair once a week for the best results.
- For those who love avocados, you’ll totally be into this mask! In a bowl, combine ½ of an avocado, ¼ cup of mayo, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Be sure to mix this well, and ensure that the avocado is thoroughly mashed up. Again, apply this to damp hair, and let it sit for 30 minutes. If you have curly hair, be sure to washing this out using a co-wash or cleansing conditioner. If you don’t have curly hair, washing this out with shampoo and conditioner is fine.
