If you want to stay radiant and feel beautiful all day every day, establishing a routine is important. Of course, there is no one ‘perfect’ routine. When you are building a routine you want to build it around static parts of your life that rarely if ever change. This is why building a routine around getting up in the morning and going to bed at night is such a good idea. These are thing you are going to be doing every day, so why not build the rest of our day around them.
Discovering what is Important
The next step in creating your perfect routine is figuring out what you feel is important to get done every day. There are lots of lists and resources out there that you can use to start this process. For us, essentials include: showering, moisturizing, eating, doing our hair, applying makeup, and reviewing our day. Of course, each of these big steps can be divided into little routines of their own. For showering we wash our body, shampoo and condition.
Sticking with your Routine
Don’t be in a rush to figure out what your perfect routine is. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment. This process could take months to get down! Once you have things figured out though, you want to make them a habit. Generally, they say it takes 30 days to create a habit. Write down the steps to your routine and make sure you can check each and every one of them off every day. Do this for one month, and there you go, you perfect routine is part of everyday life.
